What is the NEBOSH General Certificate?

This certificate is an examined basic qualification designed for persons involved in health and safety at work. It will aid non-specialists in their functions or duties with respect to health and safety in the workplace. Such people are newly appointed safety officers, managers, supervisors and employee representatives. The NEBOSH certificate provides a broad base of knowledge on which can be built a basic level of competence in occupational safety and health.

Nebosh Distance Learning General Certificate Course

We have in the past run open NEBOSH courses on set dates but feel that by offering a tutor-supported distance learning coaching programme this offers more flexibility.

The Workbook we use for this course incorporates the elements covered within the written NEBOSH Guide. Delegates will need to study from this book combined with email/telephone support and we would also set dates for meeting up with the Tutor for additional help with the course work, exam and assessment preparation, including mock written exams and practical assessment. We would also incorporate revision questions throughout to help consolidate your learning, and the Tutor will mark these and return them giving useful comments.

For candidates to attend the Distance Learning Programme, this includes the following:-

*
NEBOSH Study Book for the National General Certificate
*
NEBOSH Entrance Fees
*
Email/Telephone Support
*
Set days for on-site tutorial which includes exam and assessment preparation and revision
*
Tutor-Assessed Assignments
*
Mock Theory & Practical Exams

If anyone is interested in the Nebosh General Certificate Distance Learning Programme, please contact Pam Jones on 0844 8222760 or email p.jones@safesetters.co.uk
